The organisers say attendance by over 300 delegates was evidence of the event's success and the appetite of farmers and others to discuss the challenges they face. The focus was on assessing current practice in the beef sector and scope for change in farm management with the application of new research and introduction of new technology to improve farm profitability.

The large attendance, along with positive feedback from delegates, is evidence that the 2016 conference was a springboard for similar events in the future.
