  The AFBI Fish Disease Unit provides the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA) with a sampling and testing service for fish and shellfish diseases to EC standards.
We also provide access to scientific advice on fish and shellfish health related topics; and attendance and representation at meetings, working groups and conferences throughout the island of Ireland, Britain and internationally.
