Areas of Expertise: Sustainable Livestock
Service: Research & Development

Evaluation of the factors influencing rates of adoption of research in the Northern Ireland sheep industry.

Project details

The objectives of the current proposal are;

  1. to quantify current rates of adoption of DARD and AgriSearch-funded sheep research and
  2. to identify the key factors influencing adoption rate.

This will provide crucial information to underpin future research and technology transfer programmes, and will enable an accurate determination of the monetary and non-monetary returns from DARD- and AgriSearch-funded programmes
