Biography:

Simone has a bachelor degree in finance and a master degree in accounting from the University of Siena, Italy, where he worked for ten years in the finance sector gaining international experience within the EU markets and the Middle East markets.
He has also a Ph. D. in agricultural and applied economics from the University of Georgia, United States where he started his research activities. The focus of his research is on econometrics, agricultural economics, development economics, spatial economics, and education economics. 
At the beginning of 2016, Simone moved to AFBI where is working at the Agricultural & Food Economics Branch, providing his contribution to the Systems Modelling Unit.
