Advice to government
AFBI provides evidenced-based scientific advice on food issues, quality and contamination to government policy makers, regulators and CAFRE. This includes advice on the European and UK legislation on contamination, the appropriate response in an emergency, scientific advice on regulatory issues, and evidence and advice on scientific solutions to support economic development.
