The facilities include 64 metabolism cages, 96 individual hen cages and 20 floor pens to accommodate broilers in commercial-like conditions. The research focuses on optimising nutrient utilisation to maximise production efficiency while reducing the environmental impact of poultry production. AFBI works closely with industry partners to support a sustainable poultry industry.
