AFBI's combination of theoretical and applied scientific skills enables it to offer
a service in training scientists in a wide range of techniques and technologies through programmes
structured around core AFBI business and research areas.
These programmes can be tailored towards aiding Developing Countries, as well as
helping new member
states of the European Union (EU) meet the needs of European legislation relating to the agri-food sector.
Other
training on offer includes specialist courses in statistics, food hygiene etc. In
providing this training, AFBI draws upon scientific staff experienced in the delivery of courses
to a wide range of skill levels.
