• This weeks rain, particularly welcome in the East, will keep grass growth high.

• Grass growth in the West has also increased markedly since mid-April.

• Assess grass supply and quality on your own farm, as surpluses can accumulate very quickly at this stage of the grazing season.

• Where a surplus of grass is accumulating, plan to remove the surplus as early as possible to bring the paddock back into the rotation.
