Lough Fad East is a small upland lake situated in Buncrana, County Donegal. It has a high hill-top perspective overlooking Lough Foyle, and is surrounded by upland pete and heath habitat. It has an area of 13.9 hectares, maximum depth of 15.3m and an average depth of around 4.4m. It contains a resident population of small brown trout along with a reasonably large population of arctic char and acts as a potable water supply for the local area.
