Objectives

Livestock
Animal production research aims to improve the competitiveness of the beef, sheep and pig livestock sectors by improving the efficiency of production of high quality products from these sectors and also stimulating better consumer orientation and greater innovation in product diversity. Milk production research seeks to improve the competitiveness of milk production in Northern Ireland by examining opportunities to increase the efficiency of production systems and by encouraging better marketing and business management and greater consumer orientation.
