AFBI agrees its grant-in-aid resources with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) for Northern Ireland and sets out its planned activity and targets in a business plan. The plan is agreed by senior management and approved by the AFBI Board and DARD Sponsor Branch. The Business Plan targets are monitored during the year at Divisional level and Internal Audit reviews the achievement of the annual targets.
