£10,000 Reward offered for return of stolen Stabiliser herd
A £10,000 reward is being offered by the beef industry for information resulting in the successful return of nineteen pregnant Stabiliser heifers stolen from a cattle house at the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute, Deerpark Farm, AFBI Loughgall, County Armagh between midnight and 4.30 am on Friday 20 February 2009.

One of the valuable Stabliser cows stolen from AFBI Loughgall where a £10,000 reward is being offered by the beef industry for information leading to the successful return of these cattle.
These breeding animals are irreplaceable and form part of a research herd which is currently being established within the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute. The establishment of this herd has received strong support from the beef industry and the loss of these animals is a major blow to the profitability of beef cattle producers.
The stolen animals are red in colour although some have white face markings. All of the animals were DNA profiled and retinally scanned and can be positively identified on recovery.
