The Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI) and the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE), Greenmount Campus have issued a potato blight warning.
An Infection Period was recorded from 2 – 3 June. The forecast indicates settled conditions which should allow for good spraying opportunities and growers are advised to protect their crops with approved fungicides.
