The UK Network of Environmental Economists (UKNEE) and the Irish Environmental Economists' Network (IEEN) has organised a seminar on the "The Economics of Environmental Emissions" hosted by AFBI-Economics on Friday the 10th of October at 10.30am.  The seminar is aimed at academics, policymakers, NGOs and the private sector.
On Wednesday 17th September, between 1.30 pm and 8.00 pm, AFBI Loughgall will be opening its gates to the public, featuring some of the ongoing work and how it looks set to influence the shape of the local farming sector in coming years.
This spectacular event which boasts the largest mobile Machinery Exhibition in Europe and the only event combining upwards of 60 acres of Trade Exhibition with an extensive Machinery Demonstration Arena.
This autumn the Society of Irish Plant Pathologists celebrates its 40th anniversary on 11th and 12th September 2008 at AFBI Headquarters, Newforge Lane, Belfast.
